Join artist, poet, and cultural storyteller Quaniqua Williams for a creative art workshop for children ages 7-10. In this class, kids will dive into stories and playful artmaking to discover their personalities and express their unique voices. Using mixed-media art techniques, students will build their own identity collage by arranging colorful paper, printed images, and stickers on canvas. As they shape their artwork, they'll strengthen skills in creative self-expression, storytelling, and fine-motor movements. Don't miss this opportunity to craft vibrant artworks, share meaningful stories, and build a joyful sense of community at the museum.
Class registration fee includes Whatcom Museum admission for the workshop student and all supplies needed to create an identity collage.
