Nov 20 | Salmon Stories, A Film Festival: Salmon People

Join us for a special screening of Salmon People, a moving documentary that explores the deep cultural, spiritual, and ecological relationship between Indigenous communities and salmon. Through personal stories and traditional knowledge, the film highlights the enduring connection between people, rivers, and the salmon that have sustained generations. Following the screening, guests are invited to stay for a Q&A with a panel of the people who were involved with the documentary and reflect on the film's themes of environmental stewardship, cultural resilience, and the importance of protecting salmon and their habitats.  

Hosted in partnership with the Whatcom Museum, Setting Sun Circle, and the Whatcom County Library System.  

This event is free to attend, but seats are limited, so advance registration is required to reserve your spot.
